Sheldon Transferred?

It was reliably reported here today that Ralph Sheldon, reputed to be one of the “convict bosses” of Folsom Prison, was among the convicts transferred from Folsom to San Quentin Prison this week.

Acting Warden James Adam of Folsom stated he had “no comment to make” on the transfer.

In addition to Sheldon, it is reported many of the prisoners who were removed to San Quentin from Folsom held key positions under Clyde I. Plummer, now under suspension as warden.
