Texas Intelligence, The Houston Telegraph of Wednesday says:  The Goliad Messenger learns that Benjamin Sheldon, whose residence is about three miles east of Helena, was shot on the 20th by Alexander Selser, and died in twenty-four hours thereafter.  The two men lived on the same farm and were cropping together.  The farm belonged to Mr. Shelden.
