Sheldon filing for a Widow's pension against the death of her son, Elisha Jr, who is noted died of Typhoid Fever, caused by exposure, 1 May 1862 at the District Hospital in Yorktown, Va without a widow or child. Also noted her husband Elisha Sr died 12 Oct 1865. Evidence given that Elisha provided support of $8 per month for rent and provisions to his parents for three years before and after enlistment.
