Hooray! Our application to the IRS for a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status has been approved, meaning that anyone who donates to Sheldon Genealogy can deduct the donation on their taxes! It also means that we are now eligible to apply for foundation grants to fund special research projects.
At the end of each year, we will send out a donation letter to all our contributors for their tax records. Of course, you can also name us in your will! 
Just think — wouldn’t it be a hoot to be a Sheldon descendant who leaves a legacy to support the research and preservation of records for their Sheldon ancestors! Kind of like going back in time to influence history!
